Excellent value on our best Botswana safari
Botswana is one of the great safari destinations in Africa. More than one-third of the country is comprised of national parks and reserves that are home to some of the highest concentrations of big game on the continent. Enjoy our best Botswana safari!
Explore the lush wetlands of the Okavango Delta, famous for its diverse landscapes and wildlife, before heading to Chobe National Park and an unforgettable two-night river houseboat cruise down the river. We’ve included camps that offer great access to wildlife but at a fraction of the cost of so many other lodges, making this an itinerary incredible value for money, too.

Highlights
- This 9-day fly-in best Botswana safari begins with a light aircraft flight to Camp Moremi in Moremi Game Reserve, which was established by the BaTawna people to help preserve the region’s wildlife. The wide variety of habitats in the Okavango Delta supports one of the greatest concentrations of wildlife in Africa, and you can enjoy morning and afternoon game drives and explore the lagoon and its surrounding channels by boat (water level dependent), looking out for hippo and crocodile
- Fly to Savute in the southwest corner of Chobe National Park, known for the mysterious Savute Channel, which has flowed erratically for all recorded history. After being dry and arid for nearly 30 years, the channel started flowing again in 2008 and has once more become a waterway harboring hippo and a myriad of water birds. From your chalet at Savute Safari Lodge, watch the varied wildlife as they make their way to the Channel to drink, bathe, and play. Don’t miss the opportunity to see the fascinating ancient San rock paintings in the Gubatsa Hills
- Fly to Kasane to meet the Chobe Princess, one of a collection of three small houseboats that run along the Chobe River. During your two-night cruise you may spot elephant, hippo, large herds of buffalo and the lions that prey on them. Mark off over 450 bird species, visit a village on the Namibian side of the river, try your hand at landing a tiger fish, or capture Africa's unique beauty on a photographic safari
