Visit Kenya and explore forest, mountain, and savanna
Kenya is justifiably famous for its diverse ecosystems, and this itinerary includes three very different yet dramatic landscapes: Visit Kenya and the forests of Meru National Park to the east; the plains, hills, and mountains of Laikipia Plateau to the north; and the seemingly endless savanna of the Masai Mara to the south.
As you’d expect, you’ll find an extraordinary range of wildlife too, from the Big 5, endangered wild dog, and hundreds of bird species to adapted species only found north of the equator. As all but one of the camps you’ll stay in are set in private conservancies, you’ll be able to go on bush walks, drive off-road, and go on night drives – or how about a camel trek, a visit to a local village, or a night sleeping under the stars?
